SARA EVANS IS COMING TO PLANT CITY

Sara Evans will perform at the Florida Strawberry Festival on March 4 at 3:30 p.m. The capabilities of the new, larger, upgraded Wish Farms Soundstage allows the Festival to bring in top-tier talent like Evans.

“I am so excited to play the Florida Strawberry Festival!” Evans commented. “We’ll be playing some of your favorite hits, new music, and some covers too. I hope I get to see you there!”

Evans is the fifth most-played female artist in Country Music radio during the last two decades. She has sold over six million albums. Evans has five #1 singles, “No Place That Far,” “Suds In The Bucket, “A Real Fine Place To Start,” “Born to Fly,” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” Several of these songs spent two weeks in the top spot and were certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. A platinum record has sold at least one million copies. Nine additional singles have reached the top 10 of the Billboard country chart, including “I Keep Looking,” “Cheatin’,” and “I Could Not Ask for More.” Among her top 20 charting singles are “Saints & Angels,” “Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus,” and “As If.” 

On Youtube, the official video for “A Little Bit Stronger” has garnered 105 million views, “Suds In The Bucket” has 28 million views, “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” has 22 million views, “I Could Not Ask For More” has 21 million views, “No Place That Far” has 11 million views, “You’ll Always Be My Baby” has 10 million views, and “Born to Fly” has 10 million views.

Evans grew up in New Franklin, MO. During her childhood and early teen years, she performed in that area as a part of The Evans Family Band. Today, she still performs live and thrills audiences around the world, playing over 70 shows each year. Her “stunning, country voice” (Rolling Stone) has earned her the prestigious Academy of Country Music Top Female vocalist accolade as well as numerous American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Country Music Association, Country Music Television, and Grammy Awards nominations. In addition, the Country Music Association awarded Video of the Year honors for her chart-topping hit single, “Born to Fly”from her double-platinum album of the same name. Evans’ discography also includes the multi-platinum selling studio albums “Real Fine Place” and “Restless,” as well as the gold-certified projects “Stronger” and “No Place That Far.” Evans is also a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.

This year, Evans launched her podcast, “Diving In Deep,” and has had a wide array of guests featured on the show including Crystal Gayle, Bill Anderson, Martina McBride, Ernest, and many more. In addition to a prolific country music career, Evans has been honored for her philanthropic work, and in 2018, the National Association of Broadcasters presented her with its Education Foundation’s Service To America Leadership Award. Also a Red Cross ambassador, Evans received the national Crystal Cross award for her work with the disaster-relief organization. In addition, Evans has helped raise funds for the Country Music Awards Foundation. A longtime supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Evans continues to give to, and advocate for, the hospital as a cause dear to her heart.
