Scolaro signs with FSU baseball

Surrounded by family, friends, coaches and teachers, Jonah Scolaro signed with Florida State University on Friday, Nov. 18, at Durant High School.

Scolaro, a senior, is the Cougars' ace pitcher and part-time outfielder. A Plant City Times & Observer Athlete of the Week selection in May, he allowed just 12 earned runs last season and struck out 127 batters on his way to posting a 1.23 ERA.
