The owners of Smokin' Aces Steakhouse are offering a cash reward to anyone that can help catch a criminal.
The Park Road steakhouse was burglarized at 1:35 a.m. today, according to owner Robert Jordan The suspect tried to enter the restaurant through an access point near the men's bathroom, but failed, and smashed through the glass side door to gain entry. The Jordans say that their cash registers were destroyed, and that the suspect left the building empty-handed because no cash is kept on the premises at night.
"It's a tough struggle," Jordan says. "We're just trying to operate as a family business."
In a Facebook post, the Jordans stated that they are offering $500 cash to anyone that is able to provide information leading to an arrest. Plant City Police Department is currently investigating the crime.
