Strawberry Crest High School has received an “A” ranking in preparing students for life. The school is ranked fourth in graduation rates out of all high schools in Hillsborough County.
In 2015, the entire district had a 76% graduation rate, up 2% from the previous year and up 6.6% from the last five years. Strawberry Crest High School saw 93% of its 480 seniors graduate, about a 3% increase from the previous school year.
The area’s other schools, Plant City High School and Durant High School, also saw improvements. At Durant, 87% of the school’s 507 seniors graduated, up 0.4% from the previous year. Over the last five years, the school has seen a 8.2% increase in graduation rates.
At Plant City High School, 88% of the school’s 449 seniors graduated in 2015. The school saw a 5.7% increase in graduation rates from 2014, and has improved its graduation rate by over 18% in the last five years.
Strawberry Crest High School, which opened its doors in the 2010 – 2011 school year, has seen a 19% increase in graduation rates since then.
