Potential contestants must attend one of three orientations to be eligible.
The Florida Strawberry Queen Scholarship Pageant committee has announced several mandatory orientation dates for 2017 contestants.
Anyone who wishes to compete in the pageant must attend one orientation event at the Arthur Boring Building at the Florida Strawberry Festival grounds, 2406 W. Reynolds St. Orientations are scheduled for the following dates and times:
- 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23
- 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24
- 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1
The pageant will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017.
