Plant City’s strawberry water tank at Mike E. Sansone Community Park is in the running to be named Tank of the Year.
The competition is run by Tnemec, the industrial coating company that supplied the paint for Plant City’s tank. Of the more than one million water storage tanks in the United States, three of every four use Tnemec protective coatings, according to Tnemec.
The community can vote for the Plant City strawberry tank at TankOfTheYear.tnemec.com. Votes need to be cast by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. The tanks are listed by alphabetical order.
