Suspect in November stabbing identified, wanted

Plant City police officers are looking to bring a murder suspect to justice.

The police department announced Monday, Dec. 19, that it has issued an arrest warrant for Juan Carlos Diaz-Gutierrez, who will be charged with second degree murder with a weapon. Police say that Diaz-Gutierrez is considered armed and dangerous.

Detectives are seeking Diaz-Gutierrez for the murder of Rocio Chavez-Becerra, who was fatally stabbed Monday, Nov. 28, at the 2700 block of Sammonds Road in Plant City.
