Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft at the 7-Eleven convenience store at 12902 Newsome Road in Dover.
At about 12:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, the suspect entered the store and proceeded to the restroom area. He then walked through the back of the store, entering the office area.
The suspect then took the manager’s purse and entered the men’s restroom. He removed a wallet from the purse, as well as a deposit belonging to the store. The suspect left the purse in the restroom, but took the wallet and deposit with him as he exited the store.
HCSO describes the suspect as a white male in his mid-20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has blonde hair. He exited the scene in a black vehicle with tinted windows.
