ChiliFest makes its return with various dishes
It’s time for Plant City to grab their bowls for ChiliFest 2022, held on Jan. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It will be located at the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum, 102 N. Palmer St.
“Things are about to heat up in Plant City, and you won’t want to miss it,” said Marsha Passmore, president of the Arts Council of Plant City.
The Arts Council of Plant City will host the event, offering four $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors who want to further their education in the visual, performing or culinary arts.
The fest will offer more than 20 various versions of chili in the mild, spicy or novelty categories.
Live performances will be provided by Drawdy’s Dance School and the Eastern Hillsborough Community Band.
Trophies and a cash prize will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners selected by a panel of local celebrity judges in each category.
