A Plant City woman was one passenger in a three-car crash, which closed northbound I-75 for five hours Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Two passengers of a 2006 Chevrolet are dead after a three-car crash on northbound Interstate 75 at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. The crash closed I-75 for five hours.
A tire blew out on a Land Rover, driven by Shannon Schulstad, 33, of Tampa, in the northbound outside exit lane to Fletcher Avenue on I-75. Her passenger was Penny Berry, 47, of Plant City.
Schulstad lost control of the Land Rover, and the Land Rover collided with the Chevrolet, driven by Bayron Bamaca Merida, 35, of Bradenton, in the center lane. The Chevrolet overturned. Merida's two passengers, Elmar Alberto Villacinda Ramirez and an unidentified man from Miami, died.
The Land Rover continued to travel and struck an Acura, driven by Paul Schlicker, 68, of New Port Richey. His passenger was Linda Iungerman, 61, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
