Tomlin Middle now has the top middle school forestry team in the state of Florida.
As of Nov. 12, the best middle school FFA team in Florida hails from the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World.
Tomlin Middle's team traveled to Perry, southeast of Tallahassee, and took home the top prize. The team's focus is on forestry.
In addition to the team prize, Emma Poole won the High Individual award for middle schoolers.
