Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested two men in connection with a weekend shooting in Plant City.
According to Sheriff’s Office reports, detectives have arrested Raymond Cook-Underwood, 19, and Brandan Berg, 21, for the shooting that occurred Dec. 29, at 3405 Keene Road.
Cook-Underwood is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm; three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm; a felon in possession of a firearm; and discharging a firearm in public.
Berg is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle; and criminal mischief.
Detectives believe the incident began at 1:20 p.m., Dec. 29, when Gabriel Navarrete, 21, and his girlfriend, Diamond Bautista (20) drove to the Keene Road home. Navarrete was looking to collect a debt from Berg, who lives at the address.
Outside the home, Navarrete got into a confrontation with Cook-Underwood, who doesn’t live at the address but is friends with Berg. The whole exchange took place on the driveway near the shoulder of Keene Road.
The confrontation became violent when Cook-Underwood flashed a semi-automatic pistol and fired four rounds into the air and ground. He then shot Navarrete in the thigh.
Paramedics took Navarrete to Lakeland Regional Medical Center for treatment. Within minutes, both Navarrete’s brother and Berg arrived at the scene. When Navarrete’s brother saw Berg, he took a baseball bat and smashed Berg’s car windshield.
Berg then took a barbell and shattered the rear and passenger side windows of Bautista’s car, while Bautista was still inside. Berg and Cook-Underwood then took off in Berg’s car. Witnesses say Berg shot the pistol at least twice in the air while he was driving down the road.
Deputies pulled over Berg’s car in the Publix parking lot near Interstate 4 and Thonotosassa Road, where they were taken into custody.
Detectives still are assessing whether they will file more charges in this case.“>http://carteacher.ru/srochno-nuzhni-dengi-chto-delat.php
