A reported missing and endangered woman has been located and returned safely to her retirement home in Plant City.
Saron Olson, 55, was located in the Sun City area. She was reported as “fine” and was returned to Sharick’s Deck retirement home.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports, at about 8:30 a.m. June 9, the staff at Sharick’s Deck retirement home, 4506 Bruton Road, Plant City, dispensed Sharon Olson, 55, her medication. At 9 a.m., they discovered she was no longer on the property.
Olson has been living at the facility for the past 10 years and has frequently left the facility on foot. She’s always been located several hours later — in the area of Sun City Center Boulevard and U.S. 301, as well as Knights Griffin Road and Bruton Road.
Olson suffers mental issues as well as other medical conditions that may affect her ability to find her way back to the facility.
