Bitielo Jean-Jacques is taking some time off with VSI Tampa Bay FC to represent his country in the Gold Cup.
The CONCACAF Confederation Gold Cup runs from July 7-28 and Jean-Jacques will represent the country of Haiti in the 12th edition of the tournament. The preliminary rosters for each country are now available.
The Haitian National Team faces Honduras for their first match of the Cup on July 8 in the Red Bull Arena. Jean-Jacques will then return to Florida to face Trinidad and Tobago in Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens on July 12.
Haiti rounds out their regular play with El Salvador on July 15 in Houston before the quarterfinals begin on Saturday, July 20.
FOX Sports Media Group is televising all 25 matches of the cup for the first time.
