Visions Golf LLC, the company that owns the two 18-hole golf courses in the Walden Lake community, confirmed Wednesday, Jan. 18, that Walden Lake Golf and Country Club is undergoing foreclosure.
Steve Mercer, owner of Visions Golf, said that he cannot give many details about the process due to pending litigation, but that he hopes Visions will be able to resubmit rezoning plans for development of part of the course early this year.
"We’re hoping within the first quarter, two or three months," Mercer said.
Mercer added that club manager Lynn Archibald, who owns Professional Golf Global Group, will eventually own the course.
"Lynn is the operator of the property, and he will have the ownership of the property once this all gets worked out," Mercer said.
