Walden Lake students learn about bike safety

Walden Lake Elementary had a bike rodeo hosted by St. Joseph’s Hospital Feb. 20 and 21. Staff came out to the school and did a presentation for the primary grades. The fourth and fifth graders went through a course set up outside on bikes and scooters to practice the hand signals. They also learned how to properly wear a helmet. Teachers Christine MacAulay and Heidi Kelley had been planning the bike rodeo since last year.
