The fundraiser will take place Thursday, Oct. 27.
On Thursday, Oct. 27, bailing a friend out of "jail" will help more than one cause.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day, the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum is hosting its first-ever "Bail for Rail" fundraiser, where people will be detained at the museum, located at 102 N. Palmer Street, until they're able to raise bail money. All funds raised will benefit several upcoming projects and acquisitions at the museum, including the renovation of its tower, new signage and more.
Checks can be made payable to the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum. For more information, call (813) 719-6989 or email Info.RailroadMuseum@gmail.com.
