The Turkey Trot 5K is coming back to Plant City this November, and the Plant City Family YMCA has everything all set up.
This year’s race will begin at 7 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 26. It’s open to any solo runners aged 13 or older, but children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Race packets can be picked up from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, or at 5:30 a.m. on race day. Awards will be presented at 8 a.m.
The Turkey Trot experience will also come with group exercise classes, which will begin immediately after the awards are given out.
Those who participate in the 5K and group exercise classes will be entered in a raffle to win gift bags, which will be given out after the day’s classes are over.
